About Me
An engineering researcher exploring politics and economics—equally at home reading The Republic and Alex Rider.
Unpopular Discussion is my personal journal—a platform where I delve into thoughtful reflections on societal issues, history, and economic conditions; share opinions shaped by current events; and recount personal experiences. My writing is guided by a commitment to honest discourse, unbound by the constraints of political correctness or mandated hypocrisy. I do not advocate for others to conform to any so-called “correct doctrine”—I simply explore ideas. Having grown up in a country governed by a communist regime, I oppose any suppression of free expression in the name of ideological orthodoxy.

Although I originally created this journal to document my thoughts on social sciences, I have never formally studied the subject at university. My academic journey has been rooted in engineering, culminating in earning a doctorate. However, I do not believe this technical background places me at a disadvantage when engaging in discussions about politics, economics, or history with subject-matter experts. After all, history and power dynamics are often reshaped by innovation and scientific discovery—a perspective from which I offer my own reflections and insights.
